Connect: Plans Ahead for the Alumni Network

After months of meetings and studies mostly taking place online, the Alumni Team finally met in person last July 1 and 2 at Haus Schuurman. A warm check-in opened the meeting - as we all shared how we have been and what we are currently busy with. It was followed by our study of the “Anthroposophical Leading Thoughts” [1], planning a new focus study on “The Mission of Truth” [2] and cultural sensibilities, as well as looking at future projects.

It was clear for the group to continue offering to fellow alumni two kinds of meetings. One is the two-weekend online study work happening in December 2021 and March 2021, which makes it possible for as many former students from all over the world to access such a study. At the same time, an in-person gathering is also being planned, which will take place in July 2022 and July 2025 at the Goetheanum.

We see these two projects as a dynamic movement between the Goetheanum going into the world by meeting you at your respective homes and at the same time inviting everyone to meet in Dornach in 2022 and 2025 - a place that connected us all.

With this wish, we hope to see you once again whether online or in-person. And we are interested to see how the fork in the road stretches on - temporarily leading us in different directions, only to be surprised that it connects us all along.
