Who creates whom?

Who creates whom?

During the online courses, one can feel from the speakers' voices that there is not only one voice, but also present are the voices of all of people who are passing away from here, and so there is always an echo. An echo, if inaudible, you can see in the walls, architecture, and colors.

One of my favorites questions is: Who creates whom? Does the place create the people or do the people create the place? Who gives the other one its value?!

During our online tour of the campus, I was thinking about how many people were brought here on their own journey and lived at this place, and how this affected their lives after that. What have they left for the people coming after them: thoughts, happiness, sadness, and maybe a discomfort sometimes caused by a sudden jump into unfamiliar ideas. During the courses, this is what I saw:

1- The building’s inside, outside, walls and architecture (female and male aspects) art, and colors …etc.

2- Souls, thoughts, experiences, and interactions of people who had and were passing through there. Nice, intangible memories for us and for the people who will come after to pick up from and build off of, perhaps matching present needs.

One can see all the faces on one screen. Easily noticeable is one’s own facial impressions and others’, relating to the content we are sharing and studying together, which is blooming, growing, or needing time to digest. There is the urge to ask some people to please talk more, for they know how to phrase what we are thinking about and feeling in nice words.

Back to my favorite question and the answer which was present in my mind while relating to the Goetheaunm, I felt that both create each other. The people who believe in the idea and the place (the tangible and intangible environment) effect the people coming, so that they feel comfortable to continue their thinking to reach their own peaceful island.
